GLE – Gas Solubilities in Non-Electrolyte Mixtures

Whenever data are reported in form of Henry, Bunsen, Kuehnen or similar coefficients, they are stored in the GLE data bank. This means that access to GLE adds valuable information mostly at low concentrations of the low boiling component. It is recommended to license this data bank in addition to VLE but especially in addition to the HPV data bank.

The plot on the right shows the Henry coefficients of three common gases in water as function of temperature. In all cases a maximum (minimum solubility) is observed at varying temperatures.

Gas solubilities in electrolyte sulutions are not stored in DDB-GLE but can be found in DDB-EGLE

GLE contains 19,807 data sets (87,373 data points) for 1,336 components from 1,721 references and 6,723 different systems (5,750 binary, 888 ternary and 85 quaternary systems) (Version 2011).
