Introductory Information

The Dortmund Data Bank (DDB) is a factual data bank for thermodynamic and thermophysical data from primary sources like scientific publications, theses, company reports, deposited documents and more.

Distribution Channels

The DDB is distributed as an in-house data bank together with a software package which allows to search, display, plot, and export data. Additionally this software package contains current estimation models and parameter fitting functions for common thermodynamic properties, process synthesis tool and many more.
A second distribution channel is the use of the Dortmund Data Bank as a source for consulting services for special requests. Sometimes these services are simple data deliveries but in many cases the data are delivered together with fitted parameters (e. g. for g^E models like NRTL or pure component vapor pressure equations like simple or extended Antoine, Wagner, ...) or together with custom-made software.

Online DDB Search

The online DDB search now allows everybody world-wide to search the content of the Dortmund Data Bank online for suitable information.  This DDB online search does not reveal any data but allows to send a mail to DDBST for requesting further information.
