: Meetings

DDBST holds yearly free User Meetings in Oldenburg for customers and anybody interested in the DDB and other products of DDBST, the UNIFAC Consortium as well as further new developments and future perspectives. For a few years already these meetings are organized together with the yearly UNIFAC Consortium meeting and attract a steadily growing number of participants from industry and academia worldwide.

In contrast to most scientific conferences and meetings, the DDBST User Meeting is strongly dominated by physical property experts from industry. Besides the information on DDB, DDBSP and the UNIFAC Consortium, extensive breaks in the program offer the chance to discuss specific problems of interest with colleagues from around the world. At the 2009 meeting we were pleased to welcome the participants from different companies for two days of inspiring lectures discussions.

The first day always closes with a joint dinner usually associated with more or less heated discussions until late in the night.

The second day of the meeting offers free workshops in a computer pool and individual or small group appointments with co-workers of DDBST, LTP or the UNIFAC Consortium.

In addition, DDBST presents itself at different scientific and technical meetings world-wide and directors and co-workers of DDBST are available for discussions and presentations also outside these meetings.
